Try is a great makes you sweat and if you follow along with the video, you really have to push yourself and it is even a little fun! And when you are done you feel like you have exercised and pushed yourself. It is a great way to mix up your workout routine a little. The results: a slimmer, toner, more sculpted body...without the implants (refering to yesterday's entry)!

So I thought the way to look better was to eat right and exercise, however, I guess the public thinks otherwise. Butt implants (yes I said butt) are popular in other parts of the world and are beginning to become popular here. First its breast implants and liposuction, then botox, and now butt implants. What is going on? I also saw this show on tv that showed people getting their butt's (I don't want to get too descriptive here) drained. This is suppose to cleanse their bodies and help them to lose weight because they aren't allowed to eat solid food for the duration of this hell. What is the deal? I just don't get it. What happened to eating right, exercising and loving our bodies? I am so baffled by the lengths people will go to just to look better.

"An apple a day keeps the doctor away." When warm weather comes around fruits and vegetables sound more appealing...try eating an apple every day for a while...they are rich in iron and antioxidants...they help to keep hearts healthy. If you get bored eating a plan apple every day try eating baked apples, or braised chicken with apples. These recipes are low in fat and are delicious.

Now that the weather is being kind to us, try going for a walk outside or even for a bike ride. Winter, for most of us, is a never ending season that locks us inside for the great majority of it, with the exception of the occasional ski trip, and we often feel like we don't get enough fresh air. This winter was especially cold and every time you would go outside, your nose would burn when you would breathe. Now is the time to get some fresh air, so instead of hitting the gym, try exercising outside. It will do your whole body good if you do.

If you are an athlete that is prone to injuries consider trying a textured insole while playing sports. According to some studies done, athletes that used textured insoles had less injuries than those that used smooth insoles. Now, of course, proper training in a sport decreases sports related injuries as well...but hey why not give those new insoles a try?

Also, Vitamin E has been shown to decrease aching muscles. If you are in shape, you probably don't need to take vitamin E for muscle aches after working out, but for those who are not in shape and you often feel sore, try taking some vitamin E.
